MTN Pay as you GO, Prepaid.

Hello Africa, tell me how you are doing- the answer is South Africa and the rest of Africa are communicating like never before. MTN is the largest cell phone , wireless, mobile network operator in Africa. MTN started in 1994 with the group's starting out of South Africa when Cell Phone technology was introduced to the country.

MTN sells its services through 70,000 formal and informal outlets, including 17 company-owned service centres, across nine provinces. In 2005 its subscriber base grew by more than 27 percent to a total of 10.6 million subscribers.

MTN's network is based on Ericsson equipment and provides data using GPRS, 3G and HSDPA technology.
