Internet

Internet recharge is an awesome mechanism as it allows you to recharge by using any internet enabled computer anywhere. Since web portals are able to register you as a user, information about your money instruments for payment, your preferences can all be captured which can save you time in future. The Internet also allows you to save copies of your transactions on your computer as well as obtain Internet special promotions through various loyalty programs offered. Some important items to be aware of when it comes to Internet recharge, be sure you are giving your payment details to a creditable web site that advertises carrier logos and accepts trusted payment instruments.

Retail Store.

This is the most popular form of recharge at present, allowing users to walk into the corner convenience store , new agent, retail chain, gas station and get recharge while other daily activities are carried out. Selling recharge can create great opportunities for convenience operators to increase revenues through 'up selling' to higher recharge denominations and 'selling with' other fast moving high margin items such as magazines and confectionery. It is important that retailers educate themselves about what the wide range of products and services that are offered in terms of recharge otherwise the consumer can be mislead into recharge capabilities and there is very little recourse for the consumer. Another negative associated with Retail Store recharge is that the consumer does have to leave the convenience of their home and in this day and age why should you?

Call Centers.

If you enjoy waiting on the phone, using IVR menus, then this may be the option for you. Prepaid Earth recommends that you stay clear of Call Centres (calls made to 13xxx or 18xx numbers usually direct to Call Centres), you will be speaking to foreign operators in Call Centres located in Asia for the most part, you don't want to be giving your credit card and banking details over the phone and they dont accept cash. The whole concept of recharge via a Call Centres needs to be avoided and does not suite the prepaid model.

Since we understand the prepaid space we firmly believe that both Internet and Retail Store recharge will be the mechanisms of choice for the prepaid market moving forward. Feel free to email us at info@prepaidearth.com should you require information on locations for recharge.
